RO / water purifier service
Cartridge, membrane, UV lamp, leak or low flow.

Modular carpenter
Hinge replacement, channel alignment, sagging shutters, loose handles.

Shield is a service contract, not insurance. We fulfil it ourselves with our own technicians. It does not replace your appliance manufacturer's warranty — it covers our labour and the scheduled servicing listed on each plan.
How quickly can someone come?
Urgency is priced as a separate product, openly. We do not quietly charge more at peak times.

Questions people actually ask
Will the technician try to sell me something?
No. Our technicians are paid on the completeness of their condition report, not on sales. A technician who sells is annoying; a technician who documents is what makes your Kitchen Passport useful in year six.
If your kitchen genuinely needs work beyond the booking, it is logged with photographs and you get a message afterwards. Nobody pitches you in your own kitchen.
Why do you charge ₹199 just to look at my chimney?
Because a free visit has to be paid for somewhere, and it usually gets paid for by inflating the repair. Charging the visit lets us quote the repair honestly.
The ₹199 is adjusted in full against the job if you go ahead. If you decide not to, you have paid ₹199 for a real diagnosis and a written report you can take anywhere.
What if the price changes once they start working?
It cannot. After diagnosis you receive an itemised estimate in the app — part, labour, tax, total. Work only begins when you approve it. Our technicians are not permitted to negotiate or revise a price on site.
Something got damaged during the service. What now?
Every service booking carries ₹10,000 damage protection. Report it within 48 hours in the app with a photograph and we repair or replace it. This is not an insurance product — it is our own commitment, and we pay it directly.
Do you work outside Jamshedpur?
Care and Fix run in Jamshedpur, Ranchi and Bokaro. Studio projects extend to Dhanbad and Chaibasa. If your PIN code is outside the radius the booking form will say so before you pay, not after.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
Free until 2 hours before the slot. Inside 2 hours, the visit fee is retained and the rest refunded within 5 working days. Emergency bookings are non-refundable once a technician has been dispatched — you will see this again on the payment screen before you confirm.
